Rhodora Fitzgerald 1)Things in nature inspire me mostly and sometimes human interactions. Things like trees, rivers, the nighttime sky... these all fascinate me and inspire me to write.
2)I wrote mostly poetry from the time I was a teenager, but I only started writing stories when I was about 40 years old. I guess I had to experience a little of life before I felt I had something to share.
3)I am! I've written several children's books available on Amazon. I have a 'Rubber Duck' series for very young children and 'Willow Crossing' series intended for middle graders. I'm currently working on the 3rd and final book of that series and it's all about imagination!
4)I had a feeling of peace and of course there was an element of sadness. I've experienced death a couple of times with my Father and my Grandfather. I was with both of them when they passed away, so it was the feeling of peace that can be associated with death that I wanted to convey to the reader.
5)I can't say for sure, because it was quite some time ago that I wrote Chasing Sunsets, but I would guess that it took me only a couple days to finalize the story.

I hope you found these answers helpful!
Thanks for taking an interest in Chasing Sunsets!
Rhodora
