The best thing about being a writer is the ability of self expression and the discipline you learn to finish your book. I use life as my muse and write from what I hear and see as well as smell.
I mostly agree with you Lillis, but I don't worry about finishing anything. I have so many projects going right now and I'm certain not all of them will ever be finished. I write for the kick of writing. If I'm not feeling the story, I stop working on it and put it aside. I never abandon anything completely. There is always a possibility I'll return to those stories one day.
