James Kraus I had a HS English teacher who dragged me into writing &
Kept urging me to write something for the HS magazine,
which I did, she got 3 chapters of Blazing Guns Long TheChison Trail, this was in the late 50s when westerns
we're very popular, but now the world has changed & Super Hereos have taken over.

Richard Reese I meant, I'm glad I'm not 16 in 2016, moving into a future that seems to be especially daunting.

James Kraus I agree about the future looking daunting. I wrote The Forester to show how a person might change their environmental values for the better. Its a place to start making a change. You might enjoy the story. JK

Richard Reese Hi James! I’ve been focusing on “How did things get to be this way?” I’m posting the rough draft of my new book as I write it. It follows our journey from tree critters to planet killers. Wild Free and Happy

James Kraus Do we have to change the American culture & how do we do it? Jim Kraus

Richard Reese James, American culture is busy burning itself up. In the recent election, 73 million voted against health care, environmental protections, Social Security, etc. The other 78 million voted for “green” energy, electric cars — nothing even remotely close to radical, rapid, revolutionary changes that would slow down our war on the planet. The climate crisis will not be merciful or stoppable. See my book.
