Janelle Fila The movie was so visually stunning! And it didn't stray so far from the original story to disappoint fans.

Betelhem Reading all about it. agree

message 3: by Noelle (new)

Noelle I thought it was incredibly close to the book for a film adaption!

message 4: by Joshua (new)

Joshua I still wish it hadn't of looked so futuristic and that Jonas was a 12 like he was in the book.

Heather Hopkins Roberts I loved the cnematography in this movie, I felt it differentiated it self so nicely. It made it more enjoyable for me because I did not feel let down by a movie that ried to be the same.t

message 6: by Vanessa (new)

Vanessa What are the names of all the books you wrote?

message 7: by Gisselle (new)

Gisselle Costa Hi Lois Lowry, I'm a big fan of your book number the stars, and I think you're the most phenomenal writer, and I like to write my own stories too, and I wanted to ask you a question, What encourages you the most to write your stories?

message 8: by Devon (new)

Devon Giguere I thought it was a terrible movie. It had an entirely different feel from the book. I did not enjoy it.

message 9: by Raven (new)

Raven As someone who saw the movie first and only read the book afterwards, I'd like to say they did a poor job of making it understandable for those unfamiliar with the story. It didn't make sense why memories and feelings would go to all after he crossed the line.

S Krulan Agreed. As all films in time that are constructed from an amazing book, it finds its downfalls. That's why it is so pertinent to READ!!! :) your imagination is the best film ever!!!

message 11: by Candy (new)

Candy I think the movie is amazing. They did a great adaptation. :)

message 12: by Myleigh (new)

Myleigh How do you feel about your books being made into movies? Personally, I've read most of your books and was mad to see that they changed a lot

message 13: by Max (new)

Max I feel you really didn't answer the question here. she asked "what led to the decision to convert the book to a movie," not "what do you think of the movie"
