Why has this been delayed? Also, do you know when you'll be able to actually get this out?
Because from the end of 2016 through to now...I had bronchitis for 6 months. My beloved father-in-law died. My beloved mother-in-law was hospitalized more than once. Several friends died. My daughter got a divorce. We had to move across the country due to my husband's job, meaning I had to sell two properties and buy one in the space of less than 6 months. One of my dogs died. A good friend died in a fire. I could go on. It's been delayed because life gets in the way and I'm only human. I have no idea when I'll actually be able to get it out. I keep on hoping the answer will be XX Date! and know that it's real, but at this point, what I HAVE to get out are books that are under contract...like Book 17/Aliens Like Us. WILL this come out? Absolutely. I have 2 more new short stories to finish for it and then it can go into production. But when will that happen? At the moment, your guess is as good as mine.
I’m so sorry that you’ve had to go through all this. Sorry if my wording was snippy, and hope that life settles down somewhat for you soon.
Thanks, babe. It's just been one thing after another (and this weekend added to it immeasurably...I mean, that list above is, sadly, NOT comprehensive) and I'm dog paddling furiously to keep my head above water. The book WILL happen. I just refuse to pretend I know "when" anymore. LOL
