Yep, things are moving forward finally! Should have some concrete news in a month or two on the 3rd one in particular.
Looking forward. Any updates on whether and when a new work is to be expected? Thanks in advance. There are not many novels I praise so highly and so oft as 'Husk'. Others would be Ballingrud's 'Visible Filth' and Lorn's 'The Sound Of Broken Ribs'. You should give them a try, But then I guess you have enough to read for more than a lifetime ;-)
Hey Laertes, my 3rd and 4th novel are all finished and I'm already working on my 5th and 6th, but securing a publisher for my works has been a challenge lately. In this new era of publishers hiring "Sensitivity Readers" who deem a lot of authors and content as potentially "offensive", my books are having trouble finding a home. They've been very well received by editors at publishing houses, but the marketers and PR people.... well, to be honest, they're scared of writers like me.
Unfortunately I'm not a best-selling author, so there's little I can do except wait and see. But I will let everyone know as soon as a deal has been made!
Anything new on the publication side?!
