Oh completely! I am a convert to the church and one of the aspects that I really don't like about the culture is that relationships are too rushed to marriage. Couples don't take time to see each other angry, stressed, etc. Women are taught to be too trusting. It isn't considered ladylike to stand up for ourselves or to be assertive about our rights. And I found your book to be a breath of fresh air.
