Jake Langthorn Well, I understand about the retired part, but, speaking for me, you should feel free to backslide all you can stand, as you are far and away my most favorite author. And Penric is right in the wheelhouse of my favorites of your stories.

Ta, J, who only wishes he was retired, semi or not.

Mary Oh yes being retired is great. I am trying to be happy for you.... except that I love your stories and want more! I read and or listen to all of them about once a year.

Jerri I support the idea of being retired, and only want you to write things that you WANT to write. I have read works by other authors (I won't name names) that made me think that they had gotten tired of a series or character or of writing but were continuing under contract or need of money pressure, and have forced myself to decide that for ME a series ends at a certain point when it still had life and vigor.

However, I feel certain that if you write stories that you want to write, that I will want to read them, and I certainly hope you eventually feel like discovering what happens to Pen and Desdemona and their new friends after that lovely mountain top singing session.

Angela Ah, those make the best stories! Happy to be along for the ride. Hope you enjoy your semi-retirement. Thank you!

Susan Price I solemnly swear that the Price family will purchase and read anything you choose to publish. No pressure. Because we also reread everything already out there!
