I really like that style of writing. It adds a good pace to the book. This is one of the things I remember most about the Da Vinci Code - each chapter ended in a mini-cliffhanger, and then there would be 2 chapters following different characters that ended the same way. Keeps the pace of the story moving in a way that you don't want to put it down.
