Johnathan Phyllis, Thank you so much for your response.
It is all quite intriguing, really.
I personally only became interested in Eva some short time ago. I recall reading that Eva and Hitler were married shortly before suicide or suicide/murder. Hitler's esoteric studies brought me to ponder that there must have been some meaning behind the ceremony. So, with only that thought, I am forever curious. ha

Phyllis Ring Intriguing it is. I think that the marriage was intended to reward and honor her loyalty, and perhaps to honor her family, especially her Catholic mother, who, curiously, Hitler included in his will. I think he understood that much of what he appreciated in her daughter had been shaped by her. Thanks again for asking, Johnathan. It's nice to get chance to use this Goodreads feature.
