Some of best noir books mentioned there. Good recomendation for a guy like me who doesnt have enough people in local Goodreads community who would fancy crime fiction.
I'm super excited to see that someone else in the world has read Crumley and puts The Last Good Kiss, in particular, high on a recommendation list. It's amazing. One of the greatest first sentences of all time.

my better half actually got me a James Crumley anthology for my birthday. Haven't gotten onto The Last Good Kiss yet but The Wrong Case was wonderful. Thanks again for the recommendation there!
