Ha. You may be right, but I couldn't say. I've actually never read Wuthering Heights, or anything by the Bronte Sisters, now that I think about it.
Mine is Fitz and the Fool from the Farseer books by Robin Hobb, because their relationship goes through so many phases. It really pushes the definition of "couple" because they aren't...exactly? Except in the hearts of all her readers lol...Hobb is definitely exploring what love between two people can mean. So excited for the final volume this year, Assassin's Fate!
