Oh yes. Harriet and Peter are an inspiration.
Oh, yes! Jill Paton Walsh nails it in the introduction to Thrones, Dominations where she says something to the effect that Peter is unusual in that he requires his partner to be a woman as intelligent as he is.
I always saw as, rather than her not being able to resist any more and just surrendering, she finally realised that there was no need to resist.
The Wimsey books are some of my favourite rereads. :-)
