I've never read the Lord Peter Wimsey series but now I have to :). I love Amelia and Emerson. I would love a PBS Masterpiece series created from the books. They really could do it justice.
Amelia & Emerson! I just watched a BBC docu-drama mini-series regarding pivotal Egyptologists called Egypt. 2 of the episodes were about Giovanni Belzoni and his wife Sara Bane. After watching it, I really believe the author was inspired by them to create our 2 favorite characters. If you're interested, the mini-series is on Netflix right now.
