To be honest with you, this answer of yours is such great encouragement that you as the author and so the creator of all Captive Prince characters value fan work that much! I myself often as well are surprised of the variety of depictions of Damen and Laurent. Especially I want to emphasize how glad I was when learning, the character design in the Japanese edition(s) had not been dictated by you, but was the result of how the artist pictured them to look like. Otherwise, it somehow would have been some kind of restriction in creativity, so I feel. Luckily it wasn't.
