Martyn Stanley Getting angry! That sounds like an interesting method for getting the creative juices flowing. I suspect it works though!

Linda Nelson Feeling an emotion of any kind will get creative juices moving. Feelings can work like magic and direct which way a story will go. Being silly will make a comedy. Depression will create a dark novel.
In the end, writer's block is a process of refilling the creative well. I think all writers experience it, some don't notice when it happens.

Martyn Stanley I don't think I suffer from writer's block, mainly apathy. If I actually sit down and read what I've put so far, I an always add a sentence. I hate it when you're really tired and a bit depressed and you want to write something, but you just don't have the energy. I don't think that's writer's block though.
