Charles Agreed, Janny! It's an awesome stand-alone.

Thomas I think my very favorite of yours, where I actually remember segments of certain passages even after reading it for the third time so many years ago, is "The Master of White Storm". I loved it So much. I'm actually planning a reread of all the Mistwraith/Vastmark books, but now I do believe I'll start it all off with Whitestorm.

Janny Thanks for your feedback. Did you know that Master of Whitestorm was just released in audio with a smash hit star for a narrator? Simon Prebble has won both the Audie and Golden Voice - and for Whitestorm, he totally NAILED IT. I had goosebumps, listening to his performance. You can hear the entire first chapter for free either in MP3 for download, or by Souncloud link - on my website under excerpts. www.paravia.com/JannyWurts

Thomas I will definitely be checking that out!

Logan Fraser Thanks for the answer Janny, I will be looking for a copy of To Ride Hell's Chasm! Also the audiobook for Master of the Whitestorm sounds fantastic

Mawgojzeta Not that my opinion has any great weight, but that was the first book choice I recommend to friends, also.

Cruz Manchester My first book of yours and one of my all time favourites. It got me to start reading through your whole catalogue.

Maybe a weird perspective, but to me it read like a shounen manga. It had some of those same beats at the start before turning into a thrilling survival story. Definitely a book I'd recommend to others.
