It was a truly wonderful book!! It was a very emotional book, especially since may sister went through breast cancer in January of 2016. One of my very favorite book series!!
I too, loved the book. One of the great points that distinguishes this series from many other romantic stories is the wonderful web that you built for the characters...showing the love not only as an encapsulated entity between two people, but also between friends, siblings, colleagues, moms, parents, etc. The web of love that you built for Liv and Dean was amazing and actually impacted my perception of the romance genre. I've been reading romance books for twenty years, and this is the first series that made me realize that a lot of romance stories are like fast food....cheap [on the love that's spread around] and quick (the stories last only as long as you read them before you move onto another). They are rarely as satisfying as I found this series to be. A big thank you :)
Also...and I just have to ask...would you consider writing one of their children's stories? Perhaps interweaving them with one of the candy makers' children from CA? Or maybe the widowed father, or even Liv's mother...she's such a lost soul, but I still have hope that she can find her happy ever after.
