it will make cry. I am still mourning the loss of my best friend in the world. He was only 15. I miss him terribly. I am so sorry for your loss too.
Hi Deborah, Thank you, and I'm so sorry for the loss of your sweet boy. Losing animal family members/best friends is so hard, and in my experience, grieving them can be a long and often lonely process. I wish I could tell you my book won't make you cry, but it probably will. It made me cry while writing it, and every time I had to edit it. In the end, though, the process was healing, and my hope when I wrote it was that it would be healing for others, too. But I understand your sentiments; there have been many books I just wasn't in the right place emotionally to read when I first wanted to read them (Racing in the Rain comes immediately to mind). If you do at some point read Dog Church, I hope it brings you peace. Again, my condolences to you.
