Fabulous true story, Jenni. I hope you can weave parts of it into your one of your own stories someday. I love history and of my family as well, so genealogy fits right into that. My mom who is Irish on one side and Scottish on the other, told me stories of how the Scots & Irish would steal horses from each other and go back n forth as you mentioned. Our Scots ended up in No. Ireland, then went on to the USA in the same period you mentioned. I haven't been able to find the Scots yet, and you know how hard it is to find anything in Ireland, but a visit is certainly in order! I'd love to sit in a church where my ancestors sat! Some day!!
