Adrian Ferrer Thanks for answering, James.

I consider myself a Gnostic, so I can relate to basically everything you tell here.

"Also, I had a series of Out of Body Experiences in my pre-teens and teens..."

I appreciate your courage and good-will on revealing this, especially when one who participated in any Order is probably told to not reveal such things in public since this is about personal experiences with deep personal meaning. Not that I'm trying to give these episodes more importance than they actually have, many teenagers can tell similar report.

It is not that complex, at least not for some of us.

James Morcan Yes, I agree - it's not complex for me personally, but once people force me into public discussions things get complex real quick! Mostly language and modern definitions defeat us, I feel.

And hey, Gnostics rule! Gnostics are making a comeback.
Better 2,000 years late than never ;)

Adrian Ferrer Well... we have been around for all these centuries, cloistered or showing ourselves. But maybe you are right, maybe the time has come for Gnosticism to show up again.

James Morcan Yeah, I think many spiritual beliefs in the post-organized religion world we seem to be heading toward are pretty close to Gnosticism.
