I've been reading Barbara Kingsolver lately- The Poisonwood Bible, The Lacuna, and Prodigal Summer are all very good reads and each book has some connection to the South, as you seem to enjoy Southern Literature.
How well you know me! These books sounds interesting. Many thanks for the recommendations. I'm not sure what I can recommend back as I'm woefully behind contemporary fiction.
