Summer of Covid - 2020 - The Tiger's Wife, The Overstory, A Gentleman in Moscow, Light Years
All the above have now been read! Lincoln in the Bardo by George Saunders was brilliant and I'm currently reading a book of his short stories. I've read everything by Elizabeth Strout and she's now on my top 5 of favorite authors. I recommend sticking it out with Moby Dick, it is a very powerful and metaphorical classic for a reason. I loved Gentleman in Moscow and I sure hope they go back and make the movie with Kenneth Branagh. I worship the writing of James Salter and I've read most of his novels and his memoir. Light Years is a gem and I've read it twice thus far. 2021 has a long list of books to read including You Can't Go Home Again by Thomas Wolfe (never read him); Exit West; and Salvage the Bones (I loved Sing, Unburied Sing)
