hmm that's odd-- i'll check the files just to make sure, just so i know which ones to look at where did you get your copy?

no worries--sorry for taking a while to get back to you on this. while i am befuddled about the backmatter not showing up, it sounds like the book ended in the correct place (yeah, it was supposed to be kind of cliff hangery there, sorry!). i checked the mobi that i uploaded to Amazon and it ends in the council chamber as intended and has a short page of backmatter.
you definitely arent the only person asking about this series, and i do want to work on the next part (which I had planned to work on in winter but might try to work on this fall since there's interest in it). hope that clears everything up for you!

I think my Kindle edition of The Line of Allora may be broken. It really did end abruptly in the council room with none of the usual 'Thank You for reading' or other books but author etc.
