Bobbie Hi Ann- I think your advice is good. I think as a writer, you must learn to read books as a writer particularly books in the genre in which you want to write, and look at the techniques and strategies the writer uses that work so well to develop the story and characters. Good advice.

Ann Jones So true Bobbie, the more I read the more I find out what I like in a story and the characters. Their weaknesses and their strengths. Most of the time their weaknesses make me cheer them on even more lol!💕

Boo Vickery :) This is good advice! I also agree, I wouldn't know how to write my genre if I don't read it a lot! Great advice!

Ann Jones Spurs the imagination by reading. So many authors I would love to write like. Thank you for your comment Boo Vickery 💖

This is awesome. You are right. i wonder if it would help to have one's writing space in a good place, e.g., less clutter and all.

Ann Jones I have clutter lol! I find myself thinking of other things I should be doing. The sticky notes plastered all over my desk call me hee hee! A non distracting space would help. Great suggestion A. 🌸
