I'd travel to the wonderful world created by Alan Jay Lerner, Brigadoon. The simple act of being able to live life where the threats and pressure from an increasingly hostile world disappeared with ending of each "day," would give me freedom of spirit I find difficult to find today. Lerner's story is said to be based on Friedrick Gerstacker's novel "Germelshausen." In either case a life where human dependency on each other for life's needs bred respect and attachment certainly suites me better than today's Amazom based world where we buy our needs and live in close proximity isolation.
