It's a lovely dream. I would live there especially since the women she writes about seem to be so well educated and quick witted in a time when that could get her beaten, but the men seem to take it just fine, and the fathers are always on her side. Jane Austen's worlds are ideal.
This all makes me want to run out and re-watch Downton Abbey :)
