I’m reading it as well. The beauty of Tolkien’s writing is how he balances light and darkness it’s not just fantasy, it’s a reflection on courage and hope
It's a brilliant book. It's hard for me to imagine the work Tolkien put into it. So far, what I've taken away from the story is how we are not only defined by the choices we make, but how our choices define our world, no matter how small.
I often think of the line: We are defined by our choices and we also define the world through our choices. This is true in business negotiations, creative writing, and relationships. Many seemingly insignificant decisions ultimately become turning points in life. So I never regret those choices, even if they cost me something, because it was those choices that made me who I am today
