The best advice I can give you is be prolific. Offer ARCs (advanced reader copies) of your book(s) on multiple GR groups. Rating/writing book reviews may not help you sell books, but it will help build your presence as a reader and not just someone who's "hawking their wares" online. Give people a reason to follow you besides the fact you write books! If you can, run a giveaway. But most importantly, be patient! Success wont happen overnight :)

Thanks Lauren for the advice. I'm still getting the hang of GR. My focus is picture books so I've been trying to reach authors and readers of this genre. Any suggestions?
