Not quite what I was hoping! My book “Choose: Snakes or Ladders” has a 17-year old discovering aspects of her sexuality. It is teenage sex, but written as it occurs, without explicit sexual terms. I might take your secondary definition. It’s closer to the right genre. Thank you.
