Mish I'm so happy that you were humored by my comment! :) I'd definitely love a list of recommendations. I need to start venturing out of my reading comfort zones again.

Joanna Loves Reading Hms/Michelle, I would recommend joining the Historical Romance group (https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/...) and the Historical Romance Book Club (https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/...), where members are always happy to give recommendations. I have discovered many new-to-me authors that way.

Caroline Linden GR needs to work on their alerts. One of the best lists is Sarah MacLean's, which is always being updated: http://www.sarahmaclean.net/recommended
For historical romance, I would personally recommend:

1) Loretta Chase
2) Liz Carlyle
3) Eloisa James
4) Maya Rodale
5) Elizabeth Hoyt
6) Kelly Bowen
7) Theresa Romain
8) Katharine Ashe
9) Julia Quinn
10) Laura Lee Guhrke

In no particular order, of course! There are a variety of styles in there, so hopefully you'll find some (several!) new favorites.
