This description is familiar and relatable. My odd catalyst factor is spite, insofar as navigating input vs. output. If I get sufficiently spiteful about something, boom. Creativity. Otherwise it's a back-and-forth effort with getting things written.
Though by spite, I don't entirely mean "because I hate such and such" so much as, aha I see what you did there. Good show. Now, here, take my beer and watch this.
