Meli LOL @Nina... and Trent, and Ivy, and Al...

message 3: by Sonic (new)

Sonic And everything on two or four legs. No thank you. Besides, Ivy'd have to throw Anita off a cliff or something.

message 4: by Suz (new)

Suz I'd read it.

message 5: by Trisha (new)

Trisha Count me in as reading it!

message 6: by Felyn (new)

Felyn Hard pass for me. I gave up on LKH a long time ago, and with good reason - especially after trying again recently. Anita Blake, as far as I'm concerned, ended with Obsidian Butterfly.

Kelly Jane hard pass

message 8: by Mike (new)

Mike Solstice Maybe if Anita was still Anita & not just an avatar for Laurell's therapy sessions. She has destoryed those books. I own everything LKH has ever published but after this last book I will never buy another one.

No, no please don't. After all the blatant date rape scenes in Blake that were blown off as no big deal, the ancient creatures who act more like teens victimized by their hormones... *shudder*

message 10: by Suz (new)

Suz No matter where you go in book-land you will never be able to get away from whining about Anita-sex. :D

message 11: by Bryan (new)

Bryan Hatch Please, for the love of pizza, no.

message 12: by Cindi (new)

Cindi Russell No. Anita would be too busy screwing her 24 besties to be of any help at all. I have long given up on that series.

message 13: by Debra (new)

Debra Johnson Nope. Don't do it. I was a hardcore fan of LKH. Both her Merry Gentry and Anita Blake series. Her last book in the Merry Gentry series & the last 2 in the Anita Blake series destroyed them for me. She has gotten crazy with writing overly long books with no substance and destroyed the credibility of her characters & their connects. It's like really bad erotica (I love good erotica) where it is just one big orgy with people they don't care about. Both characters used to be bad-ass women with brains. Now they are just an excuse to write bad pornography. Kim Harrison's character, Rachel, is to good for LKH.

message 14: by L (new)

L Bongiorno LOL... I saw this question and had some reasons for a BIG NO to that, but it seems like they have already been covered;)

message 15: by JulieAnn (new)

JulieAnn Anita and Rachel meeting...um YES, please...wondering if dear Ms. Laurell has seen this sort of request. well....hmmm

message 16: by Danihelle (new)

Danihelle Draklyn yes, when I said crossover, I meant the Anita Blake from the earlier books! I agree, LKH later anita books have gotten too much sex and not enough action (bloody, fighting action, not the bedroom type lol). I still read them though.......but yea they're not what they once were.

Charlie Still a big NOPE!!!!
