This is a wonderful answer, Madeline. I was blown away by Circe and then read and loved your first book. I too have a theater background (actor and playwright) and I resonate with your answer about how this informs writing a novel. Writing a novel is a marathon, but I've always felt that some things about it were easy for me, having been prepared in the Marines of playwriting and acting. Brava and thanks for wonderful books. I look forward to reading more.
