you can focus on universities that offer degrees in Near eastern Studies and work with whoever is there which is what I did. There are many fine programs in the US and you can find them in the College Blue Book or try MESA online--Middle East Studies Association.
Yeah sure, I will look in them but how about funding are they offer any scholarship for these programs as well?

It really nice to hear a positive response from you, My shaikh lives in Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan. His name is Hazrat Makhdom Sufi Ali Anwar Bhatti Saifee Naqshbandi Mujadidi. He also granted me khilafat in 2014. I will search for these Sufi scholars as ill finish my engineering masters.
