Anthea, thanks so much for sharing about your writing. I like the idea that you are writing stories that you always wanted to read, and that it gives us readers an idea of where you are coming from, a glimpse of you.
Thanks, Fred. I just realised that you had added a comment. Thanks for taking the time to read my answer to this question. I started writing for this reason; to write stories I wanted to read. I think I keep learning different things about myself as I write. As I reread my novels, I feel like I am reading someone else's book, which always surprises me. : )
