I noticed that with Nikki! Probably the reason why I figure she looks a bit like me since I'm just as prickly and hard to work for with a lot of personal scars I try to keep covered. ;) Funnily enough, through listening to your books on audio, I have now gone ahead and cast some of my favourite actors for Nikki & crew, and even popped up a pic of what Nikki & Joseph look like in my latest review on "Stalked on the Fens." So thrilled to have found your books (all hail Audible and the power of Mr. Armitage!).
I love the audios too, and the narrators do such a wonderful job. I'm convinced that Richard Armitage IS Jackman! Sadly can't pick up your image for some reason, so I'm going to have to guess! So pleased that you are enjoying the books. You take care, Joy x
I don't think I can actually paste the image here, but it is in my review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
It was a tough choice there for our DS, but I figured with the mention of Joseph's hair being a light brown, I'd go with that choice, and not have him be a twin of Rowan Jackman! And yes, Mr. Armitage tends to have that effect when narrating anything, even the proverbial phone book. Kuddos for getting him for the J&E series! I'm saving the rest of those as a special treat for myself. Not because I get distracted by the narration and end up injuring myself or anything. ::cough:: Thanks again for all the writing, and making me eat my words of, "Eh, those detective series books don't do anything for me...."
Great, got it! (Even though I read the review yesterday and only got the words, image! and no picture) See exactly where you are coming from with those guys. Nice casting! (bit pricey I think but hey, we're worth it!) And thank you so much for the review, it's very much appreciated. xx
I've never been accused of having anything but the best of tastes, and yes, this series (and the J&E series!) deserve the very best! And I'm always one for dreaming big.
Simply addicted to your books right now and know what side-sight-seeing-trip I'll be making on my next trip abroad. I'm keen to see the difference as to the coastal marshes that I know so well (Scituate Driftway in Massachusetts and the intercoastal waterway/May River in Bluffton, South Carolina).
