Ah, you have "writer's wiring." Every day, we are exposed to thousands of "pixels" of information seen and heard out of context. It's like finding a piece of a jigsaw puzzle. Any normal person would just throw it away, but a writer stores them like precious gems, to be compared and assembled into a pattern in the quiet moments when our loved ones think we're just relaxing.
