I think that my top 5 mystery writers are Jo Nesbo, Ian Rankin, Hakan Nesser, Archer Mayor and Arnuldur Indridasson. Falling in right after that are Aimee Thurlo, Margeret Coel, Anne Hillermann, along with Tony Hillerman and Henning Mankell
I haven't read anything by Christa Faust, but Tana French, Paretsky, and Carbo are near the top of my list. As a Montana product, have you read Peter Bowen's Gabriel du Pre books?
Yes. Actually, I've read all of them. It's one of my favorite series.
