Timothy Gates Now after having given this a little more thought, I will mention a few more books. These are books that I believe were all a part of lots of life changing events taking place in my life in the later 70's and early 80's. It's been about 40 years since I read most of these but they were certainly life changing at the time. The Pursuit of God by A.W. Tozer, Prison to Praise and Power in Praise by Merlin Carothers, True Spirituality by Frances Schaeffer, The Normal Christian Faith by Watchman Nee, The Cost of Discipleship by Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Rees Howells Intercessor by Norman Grubb, And Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis. The thing is, with the exception of Mere Christianity which I just re-read a few months ago (and enjoyed thoroughly) it's been many years since I read those books. They made a definite impact on my life at the time. It might be time to read them again.
