Koffe Heya Mark Henwick first of all thank you so much for taking the time to answer, I really appreciate that. I’ve loved your books so far. But when a series stop on a cliffhanger and nothing happens for a few years I tend to get a bit worried. That is due to other authors having done so and then just released books that dragged out everything and didn’t move the story along at all. Thinking about 1 in particular Cassandra Palmer by Karen Chance. However I am glad to hear that you are working on book 6 and am looking forward to reading it. Well it’s better to take your time and write a good book with quality content than quantity. So I can only say take all the time you need I am still a big fan of yours. I keep the faith Mark Henwick you haven’t let me down yet 😁. So you keep working at your own pace and deliver to us great books 🙃.

Daniel MH,

I for one am NOT looking for "a conclusion to the series coming out any time soon.".

I believe the Bite Back series has 'legs', so to speak, that would allow it to become a long running series, similar to Bill Baldwin's "Helmsman", Nial Teasdale's "Fox Meridian", Elizabeth Hunter's interconnected "Elemental"s and others. I suspect there are many other readers and fans who feel the way I do.

Of course, that may not be what you're planning or what you want. I deleted my FB account years ago, so I only see the Goodreads and Wordpress blogs.

I'm also something of a traditionalist; I wait for the official release and don't read any of the in-progress chapters or teasers.

Mark Henwick Thanks Daniel.

Yes, Facebook is a bit of a pit.

As to the total number of books in the Bite Back series, there's an arc for a series, just like there's an arc for a book, and Bite Back's arc is Emergence.

I like the world I've developed, so there's nothing to stop me creating a post-Emergence series...
