J.G. Harlond It's curious how reminiscences stick in one's memory. A lot of my novel about the first half of the C20 comes from reminiscences about India and the two wars from my grandfather - and I have to confess, as a young girl at the time I wasn't paying that much attention. How I wish I had invested more time - at the time.

Rona Simmons Same here. My father never said much about his experiences in WWII. Fortunately I convinced him to sit down and talk about it -- it was the first thing I wrote -- just a memoir of the war years for the family. But I suppose that started me down this journey. I am so thankful I did.
