Vanessa Dargain Yes . I think audiobooks count as reading . And you don't have to read for the entire 24 hours . Since most people have a life and can't binge-read like that for 24 hours .
I usually clock in about 7 continuous hours and then I need to stop and take care of my affairs .
Check out Dewey's readathon website to register and get the details . I thought this would be something that would hold your interest . And I guessed right . Enjoy !

Ryan Freeman Yes! You're right! Thank you for the heads up. Yeah, depending on the book, I can read for a few hours, but then, like writing, I have to get up and do something else, even if it's just for a little while. (Except for Dresden File books. I could read those alllll day!)

Vanessa Dargain That's the way I feel about about Diane Mott Davidson and John Flanagan's books . They are totally fiction and totally page turners . What are the Dresden file books ?

Ryan Freeman Oooh- they’re urban fantasy about Chicago’s only wizard P.I. - they’re great!

Ryan Freeman Thanks! I’ve really been loving Madeline L’Engles’ A Ring of Endless Light. You? Oh, in case you didn’t hear, my books are now also over at Organic Books and Downtown Books in Albuquerque!
