MJ4S Wow, I am blow away that you have this capacity for writing. As someone who has tried writing (I'm extremely slow at it), I think this is an amazing ability to have. Have you always been able to write this fast or has this ability developed in time, by writing continuously?

Crystal Thank you! That was exactly the answer I was hoping for.

Rose I'm curious to know when you co-author a book, in general how much of the writing is yours, and how much is the work of another author. Maybe this could be a whole other thread -- a glimpse into how co-authoring works. I've been reading your books for years, and they get better all the time.

Kathryn Veque I've never co-authored, so I can't answer that question. It should probably be a whole different thread to discuss how others do it - there are different methods for different teams.

Kathryn Veque I think I must have replied when I was sleep deprived, so I apologize if it came across as short. I do work very hard, though, and I really hope it shows in my novels. I do appreciate your question - because I would wonder, too!

Crystal No worries, I knew the question was a little rude to begin with lol and I wasn't trying to be rude but I'm not a writer so I was unsure of how to elegantly ask!

Sara Adrien Kathryn, I love your response above! This is a smart and admirable answer to a difficult question. Like Kathryn, I write quickly and I don't really need 3 months for a book even though the extra time is sometimes handy to edit my own work.

My training as a lawyer has equipped me with an innate ability to structure my work. In other words, I outline my stories. This really speeds up the process.

I love Kathryn's books and I also write full-time. It's such an inspiring and creative work!
