What I liked about your book was the focus on the Big Sur years, which the previous biographies I've read don't seem to have much on. I was slightly disappointed that you didn't spend more time on his final years and his final wife. But loved the book for the period it did cover.
I was more interested in Miller's career as an artist than in his personal life, and his artistic career was pretty much over when the US Supreme Court removed the ban on his Paris books. Other biographers have documented his last years.
