Funny you mention writing in your head all day and sleep as a way to relax any blockage. My problem has never been writer's block because I find myself being in a new story almost every night in my dreams. I have hundreds of great stories, sometimes as poems or songs, flushed out in detail. My problem is finding time in the day to write them all. I have so many great fun and bright ideas that I've often thought about giving them all away to others just so some version of them can be enjoyed by all. Even if I gave them all away, I would still have a new one tomorrow.
It is a neat idea to give away your stories, but they would never have your special touch. You could, however, combine stories. I am finding that people are gravitating to more complex stories/genre's.
Or you could make them short stories. It is always good to just write things out and not worry about time. I get stuck in the not enough time in a day thing as well. Just do it and then let it go. If you pick it back up in a month or so... cool, if not then I guess you could give it away, or ask a writer if they will co-write with you the finish. That always seems to work out well.
