I agree with all of this. It also makes me feel a little better about last fall, when I was putting almost nothing on paper. But now that the writing's flowing again, I'm realizing that at least some of it was getting figured out in my head.
Hi, Mary. Yes, let the unconscious do the work for you! However, it never seems to unleash what we need when we want it. Most important, I'm glad to hear that you're writing again. Enjoy the journey, and be well!
I totally agree - thinking about writing is part of the process. Too much has been made about "writer's block."
