Marishka Grayson Oh, I should add that the series follows a format; books 1 and 2 were about the Hero and the Mother, this third book is about Siblings. Vertical relationships are between us and the Archetype of the Mother and Father. I'm reading an amazing book about the Sibling Archetype, and I have to reconsider every horizontal relationship and how it has formed me. I write and then I analyze my own writing based on what I research. Although, it seems it should be the other way around, but I find I let my unconcious do the "talking" and let the story unfold first :0).
I hope you enjoy this new exploration of the Sibling Archetype. Even without siblings, your affective experiences are your closest, intimate friends and your horizontal relationship with the world. According to the Sibling's Archetype's author, it's an "initiation of the soul into diversity in the closest and most immediate manner." And that seems a beautiful concept to me, don't you agree?

Warmly, MG

Shivani McFarland Sounds like a very interesting book. Having no siblings I have managed to create family with my friends and ex with whom I am still quite close. I visit his brothers and their kids whenever I can. I guess these are my siblings and I feel being with them has a huge effect on my emotional growth and soul.
A comment about the extensive research that you into is
one of the things I love about your writing. I am just amazed, it really comes out in your craft.
Cheers,
Shivani

Marishka Grayson Absolutely agree with other people in our lives being like extended siblings. I grew up in a small fractured family and sought out other larger ones to become a sibling of many. Incidentally, as far as research, I'm currently working on book 4 and this story has taken me to Minoan culture—the oldest in Western Europe and VERY mysterious. Its threads spread all over the map literally. I can't wait to delve deeper and form a story from it. Fae in Ancient Greece, yay!
