I hope that designer was given the "what for" and fired. How awful. I wonder if they thought no one would catch it.
This is more than inconvenient for you, I'm sure. That first cover was SO beautiful! Fortunately, I bought the EPUB version from Amazon.. so I can look at it when I want to...but I'd have bought the paperback version if I knew that I could get the original cover. Sigh... it's very disappointing...and I know you must be SO irked! Maybe you could give away some copies? People might be very glad to get the original book...
Deissy - Just a little suggestion here... if you contact some used book sellers (there's probably one in a city near you... or check online (I know there are used books sold on the Internet - I get mine that way often - You might find somebody who's selling a copy of the original version of "Pestilence". Amazon.com sells used books. Maybe they've got a seller trying to sell one "used". :)
