Sherlindreah now this I do understand as I used to be my own boss too and it's not really laziness but much more like you feel about doing tons of things other than working (I never could understand all those people who say they would not do what to do if they did not work...well sorry guys I do have a life).
No more of being my own boss now and I work much better when I'm being told waht do to and above all when I know when I stop working for the day.
I never could have been a writer because of that so nah you're not whinning at all, I know it's tough or at least, a problem.

Lisa Eiff I definitely understand your answer here...I've actually formulated an idea for a book when I was in college...started a rough draft of the first chapter, and never really got farther than that until grad school. By then I had lost my original copy, so I was going with the same characters and story line, formulated more details about each character (even introduced a few new ones)...and still never made it past the first chapter or two. No matter what anyone says...writing is hard work...it definitely takes focus (which my A.D.D. plays a huge part in when it comes to taking that aspect away from me)...and why should I write right now while I have that great tv series to catch up on, or a new book series to check out?

Elaine Schermbrucker I've tried so many times to write but I failed. This is maybe I am not good at being my own boss.
